Suchitra Mattai is featured in Common Threads, an exhibition at Apple Park. Her work, show pony, invokes, weaves together vintage saris to celebrate and commmemorate the spirit and labor of women, shaping a future that is imagined but not yet fully visible. Collapsing the divide between high and low, they are “everyday” saris and speak to domestic life.
